OUR STORY

Found in the Fog was born from a simple idea:

the best things are discovered, not mass-produced.

Inspired by San Francisco’s antique market culture and love of objects with history, Found in the Fog is a curated monthly antique and collectibles market held on the last Sunday of each month at the historic Marina Middle School. Rooted in wandering and discovery, it’s a place to stroll without a list, follow what catches your eye, and leave with something you didn’t know you were looking for. At its heart, the goal is to grow Found in the Fog into a long-standing community gatheringβ€”one that neighbors return to month after month, year after year.
Founded by a small family team with deep roots in hospitality, art, and antiques, Found in the Fog reflects decades of experience creating spaces where people gather, slow down, and connect. One of our founders brings over twenty years of experience as an art and antique dealer, having bought, sold, and sourced objects from flea markets, estate sales, and private collections throughout California and beyond. His seasoned eye for authenticity, craftsmanship, and patina helps shape the market’s curationβ€”ensuring every vendor and object feels intentional, well-made, and worth a second look.
Shaped by both a seasoned dealer’s eye and a hospitality-driven approach to gathering, the market is built on connection and curiosityβ€”resulting in an experience that feels as welcoming as it is considered.
Found in the Fog features a thoughtful mix of antiques, vintage furniture and dΓ©cor, art, vintage clothing, and local makers, alongside a curated selection of food offerings and a dedicated kid zone, making it a place where collectors, casual browsers, and families alike can linger.
At its core, Found in the Fog is about connectionβ€”between past and present, object and story.
Come for a stroll. Stay for the hunt. Leave with a story.

The hunt is half the fun.
